"Armor of God"

Inspired by EPHESIANS 6: 10-17

Battle Against Evil. ¹⁰ Finally, draw your strength from the Lord and from his mighty power. ¹¹ Put on the armor of God so that you may be able to stand firm against the tactics of the devil. ¹² For our struggle is not with flesh and blood but with the principalities, with the powers, with the world rulers of this present darkness, with the evil spirits in the heavens. ¹³ Therefore, put on the armor of God, that you may be able to resist on the evil day and, having done everything, to hold your ground. ¹⁴ So stand fast with your loins girded in truth, clothed with righteousness as a breastplate, ¹⁵ and your feet shod in readiness for the gospel of peace. ¹⁶ In all circumstances, hold faith as a shield, to quench all [the] flaming arrows of the evil one. ¹⁷ And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Soft Maple (found in North America, specifically the eastern, central and southern United States, as well as eastern and south-central Canada)

Wood Species of Cross: 

Pau ferro - a.k.a. "Morado" - a.k.a. "Bolivian Rosewood" (found in Tropical South America, mainly Brazil and Bolivia)

Style of Crucifix: 

Combination of polished and brushed stainless steel 

Outer Frame Dimensions:

- Height:  32 inches

- Width:  24 inches

- Depth:  2.75 inches (width from wall outward)

- Thickness:  approx. 1.5 inches (width when viewed from the front)

*Note regarding thickness:

While we aim for 1.5" thickness on every frame, this dimension can vary (only by fractions of an inch) from frame to frame. Often, in order to remove imperfections, the wood must be made slightly thinner to remove twists, cups, bows, flaws, etc. In the end, the outer frame is always plenty thick and very impressive!
