"Coming of the Lord"

Inspired by JAMES 5: 7-12

Patience and Oaths. ⁷ Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient with it until it receives the early and the late rains. ⁸ You too must be patient. Make your hearts firm, because the coming of the Lord is at hand. ⁹ Do not complain, brothers, about one another, that you may not be judged. Behold, the Judge is standing before the gates. ¹⁰ Take as an example of hardship and patience, brothers, the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. ¹¹ Indeed we call blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of the perseverance of Job, and you have seen the purpose of the Lord, because “the Lord is compassionate and merciful.”

¹² But above all, my brothers, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath, but let your “Yes” mean “Yes” and your “No” mean “No,” that you may not incur condemnation.

Outer Frame Dimensions:

- Height:  32 inches

- Width:  24 inches

- Depth:  2.75 inches (width from wall outward)

- Thickness:  approx. 1.5 inches (width when viewed from the front)

*Note regarding thickness:

While we aim for 1.5" thickness on every frame, this dimension can vary (only by fractions of an inch) from frame to frame. Often, in order to remove imperfections, the wood must be made slightly thinner to remove twists, cups, bows, flaws, etc. In the end, the outer frame is always plenty thick and very impressive!
